The monthly newspaper is not meant for updates or modifications or news of what's going on the website but used strictly for in-character purposes via roleplay in our forums. Because of this, it will include articles on official roleplay events (with possible mentions or hints towards people's characters), the war against the hell raisers, any new discoveries, any major in-character events that could affect an environment (i.e. a building gets badly damaged during a fight), etc.
HOWEVER
People can submit things to the newspaper. Articles they have written themselves, mini-comics, links to roleplays in the forum if they want an article to cover a specific story (within the past month), etc. However, in order to do that, you'd have to send that information to me directly, either through this website or through discord. Deadlines for a previous month's article would be the 20th to 25th of that month. So if you want there to be an article created based on a roleplay that happened on October 4th, 2023 you'll need to send a link to the start of the roleplay (and an outline of what happened so we know what to look for) by October 25th, 2023 and will be launched within November's Newspaper. You can always submit earlier though. However, if a roleplay happens October 21st, 2023 that you want to include, then it will be in December's Newspaper.
To summarize, you can send any of the following to be included in a newspaper:
- mini comics
- your own personal articles and stories
- links (and a basic outline) of a roleplay that happened that you want to include (that affects the roleplay environment); this also includes guild-related events
So feel free to send those to me.
